The Opportunity

We are seeking a joyful, mission-driven authentically Catholic leader to serve as Superintendent of Catholic Schools for Mission and Identity—a vital, strategic role focused on renewing and strengthening Catholic culture in our schools.

This role will truly have a direct and lasting impact and legacy!

You’ll lead efforts to deepen Catholic identity in all elementary and high schools, serve as the primary implementor of the Evermode Institute (served by The Norbertines), and help transform school culture through religious curriculum adoption. As a visible disciple of Jesus Christ, you'll support school leaders, teachers, and Diocesan staff in forming students and educators in Gospel-centered living.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Catholic identity initiatives in all diocesan schools
• Partner with and report to an amazing Director of Catholic Education on philosophy, leadership, and policy implementation
• Plan and coordinate formation and professional development for school personnel
• Assist school leadership and pastors with mission-driven operations
• Support accreditation processes focused on religion and identity
• Serve as diocesan representative on high school boards and advisory councils
• Provide policy and regulatory guidance, including federal/state compliance
• Collect, analyze, and share education data
• Deliver training, attend principal meetings, and support hiring processes
• Collaborate across departments and represent the Diocese in statewide superintendent meetings
• Attend relevant conferences and networking events

Qualifications and Skills

• Master’s or Doctorate in Education, Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of teaching and 3 years of Catholic school leadership
• Strong experience in Catholic identity and mission integration
• Familiar with accreditation standards and review
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
