Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in IFRS who has experience in a manufacturing environment, supporting cost tracking, inventory valuation and production related financial processes. You will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting audits and compliance efforts. If you’re passionate about building impactful, user-centric products and have experience designing interfaces for complex, data-rich applications, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
· Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
· Experience in a manufacturing or production-based environment.
· Familiarity with cost accounting principles and inventory management systems.
· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
· Support internal and external audits.
· Help implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
· Perform any other duties as assigned by the People Manager or required by the business to support team and organizational goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
· 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
· Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Xero) and advanced Excel
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
