Job Description

A K-12 School Psychologist position is available in the Varnville, SC area serving a small rural school district with proximity to Buford County, Charleston, and Augusta. This contract role spans from now until mid-June, with a potential continuation through the school year from August to mid-June. The schedule includes approximately 30 to 40 hours per week with two-week breaks following each quarter, totaling around 36 weeks annually.

Responsibilities:

• Complete initial evaluations and re-evaluations through the current school year
• Conduct evaluations, report writing, and participate in IEP meetings during the following school year
• Support 3 to 4 schools out of a district total of 10
• Collaborate closely with district staff while maintaining the ability to work independently
• Adapt to week-to-week scheduling in coordination with district needs
• Participate in virtual meetings and maintain a hybrid work schedule with three days on-site and two days remote

Qualifications:

• Licensed or eligible School Psychologist with credentials applicable to K-12 settings
• Ability to manage multiple schools and caseloads effectively
• Strong organizational and communication skills for report writing and IEP collaboration
• New graduates who are prepared to hit the ground running are welcome to apply
