Job Description

A school district in the Fayetteville, TN area is seeking skilled School Psychologists to support K-12 students. Positions are available for either full-time or part-time schedules, with opportunities for a full-time role or a part-time role (2 days per week), both requiring in-person presence.

Work Schedule & Duration:

  • Full-time: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Part-time: 2 days per week, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Contract runs from August 6 through May 22, aligned with the school year, including school breaks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting psychological evaluations for students referred for initial assessments or re-evaluations across seven schools in the district.
  • Reviewing student records to determine eligibility in accordance with Tennessee state guidelines.
  • Writing psychological reports and finalizing eligibility documentation using TNPulse.
  • Participating in manifestation determination meetings to assess student needs.
  • Collaborating with educators and staff to support student success.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience with K-12 special education evaluations and eligibility processes.
  • Skilled in administering and interpreting psychological assessments.
  • Familiarity with Tennessee special education regulations and reporting tools such as TNPulse.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
