Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Sales and Support Specialist to join our team at a chemical plant that specializes in buying and selling used chemical and petrochemical equipment. In this role, you will assist customers in selecting appropriate equipment, inspect and write detailed descriptions of complete chemical and petrochemical facilities for resale, and collaborate with clients on complete plant sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of chemical and petrochemical equipment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Pay is competitive and depends on your experience and will be discussed during the interview.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers in selecting the most suitable used chemical and petrochemical equipment based on their specific needs and requirements.
Inspect and assess the condition of complete chemical and petrochemical facilities, documenting findings and creating detailed descriptions for resale purposes.
Collaborate with clients on complete plant sales, providing guidance and support throughout the entire process.
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and promoting repeat business.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding equipment specifications, availability, pricing, and delivery in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, advancements, and market conditions to provide the most accurate and valuable information to customers.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as procurement, logistics, and operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive business growth and increase market share.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry, with a focus on sales and customer support.
Strong knowledge of chemical and petrochemical equipment, processes, and applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience with CRM software.
