Job Description

Our client is seeking a Process Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Process Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for proposal review, specification analysis, bid drawing breakdown, P&ID analysis and/or creation, definition of project components to design and assembly. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Process Controls Engineer
Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Pay Rate: Up to $47/hr (Will be dependent on experience level)

Key Responsibilities

• P&ID analysis
• Perform drawing designs and work with internal CAD specialists to create the control drawing package.
• Develop program outline and sequence of operation/narrative for control operations.
• Verify installation details are followed and perform field startup activities.

Requirements

• Understanding how to read and design a system P&ID.
• Knowledge of PLC and HMI programming for Allen-Bradley/Rockwell
• Must have a broad knowledge of tooling required to perform various complex machining operations with the ability to identify required tools and source, as necessary.
