We’re seeking a hands-on Freight & Logistics Coordinator Supervisor to lead freight operations across multiple sites. This role requires expertise in procurement, logistics coordination, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency, ensure timely deliveries, and support company-wide logistics strategy and performance.
Supervise and coordinate daily freight and logistics activities across multiple sites.
Oversee procurement and vendor negotiations to secure cost-effective and reliable freight services.
Lead and mentor logistics staff across locations, fostering a high-performing team culture.
Develop and enforce logistics processes to reduce costs and boost efficiency.
Track and manage freight activity, inventory levels, and regulatory documentation.
Collaborate with site managers and internal departments on shipping schedules and logistics planning.
Maintain strong relationships with freight carriers, suppliers, and external partners.
Analyze performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
Ensure safety protocols and compliance standards are met at all times.
Generate reports on freight costs, KPIs, and operational metrics for senior leadership.
3+ years of experience in freight logistics, supply chain, or procurement leadership.
Experience managing multi-site logistics operations and teams.
Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient in logistics and procurement systems (TMS, ERP preferred).
In-depth understanding of shipping regulations and documentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
