Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Pharmacist for a hospital-based position in Pleasanton, California . Join a 300-bed teaching hospital , part of a well-established Bay Area health system, and work alongside top-tier medical professionals in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with strong clinical knowledge and residency training (PGY1) who thrives in a collaborative hospital environment and is looking to grow within a respected health system.

Position Overview:

• Location: Pleasanton, CA

• Setting: Inpatient Hospital (300 beds)

• Schedule: Variable shifts (Days / Afternoons)

• Start Date: ASAP

• Type: Contract or Temp-to-Hire

• System: Part of major Bay Area health system

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify physician orders for accuracy, safety, and therapeutic appropriateness

• Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to optimize medication therapy

• Perform medication reconciliation and monitor antibiotic sensitivities

• Coordinate the preparation, compounding, and timely delivery of IVs and medications

• Provide supervision and clinical guidance to pharmacy technicians and support staff

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required

• PGY1 Residency strongly preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Previous inpatient hospital experience highly desirable

• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail

Compensation:

• Starting at $70/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

• Weekly pay + optional benefits available through Soliant
