Job Description

Position Title: Clamp Truck Forklift Operator

Wage: $17/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7am-3pm Monday-Friday (8 hours, OT every other Saturday)

We are searching for candidates with previous clamp truck forklift experience for a role we have available on 1st shift. Clamp Truck Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate clamp truck forklifts to transport and stage large paper rolls for the printing press
- Load and unload heavy paper rolls, ensuring safe and damage-free handling
- Monitor paper quality, adjust tension, and verify that rolls meet press specifications
- Ensure proper inventory rotation and waste management of paper stock
- Collaborate closely with press operators and team members to maintain smooth workflow
- Assist with press setup by installing plates and preparing materials
- Maintain clean and safe work areas in compliance with company and OSHA standards
- Train new employees on procedures and safety when required

Clamp Truck Forklift Operator Requirements:
- Proven experience operating clamp truck forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds frequently and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Good vision and ability to distinguish color (critical for press work)
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Must be reliable and follow attendance procedures
